Really aesthetic set up. But it’s the worst capsule hotel I’ve stayed in. Loud music from neighbouring venue was audible until 2am. Sound from other capsules very audible too as there’s no roof on the top capsules. Beds are not made for you, and bathrooms are only ok. The front door was left unlocked all night with a sign saying “please don’t lock” so it’s open to anyone and everyone… Looks great - but was not great.

Booked corner double room as couple - came with heater, electric blanket, sheets, doona and pillows (small pillows and thin mattress but comfortable enough). Showers very nice and warm with good water pressure, equipped with hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. Common areas and bedrooms quiet despite thin walls/curtains. Can’t beat location - heart of it all especially on a Saturday night!

I went there with a friend to spend a few hours reading. Unfortunately, we were met with rude staff, who treated us poorly. She interrupted whenever we spoke, and often corrected us as if we were not fluent English speakers. There was no thank you, no nothing. However, it seemed she treated other people with more kindness, which appeared heavily racist to us. I eventually confronted her with her rude behaviour, and suddenly she pretended that she does not understand English. Honestly, don’t go there. There’s lots of good parks and cafés to read your books. Don’t pay a penny for a poor treatment. Wish you all a good day.

It was awesome. You get to sleep amongst bookshelves. I felt like I was a character in a children's book. My little bunk was roomy and cozy. I have heard others say it was noisy. That was no my experience. It was dead quiet when I was there. I loved the setting- especially at night when a few people would be lounging and reading while the others slept. The wifi was great. The bathrooms were adequate - large showers, hot water etc. I loved the weirdly photogenic breakfast. And the location was perfect. Easy to find and close to the Shinjuku train station. A fun experience.

Perfect location, easy accessible, nice and quiet atmosphere, good bunks. Ideal place. Bathrooms had shower gel and shampoo / hairdryer available. I will surely return. First night I had a loud guest sleeping above my bunk bed. Can’t be helped. The other nights were perfect.
